Skyfall AI unveiled SKY-001, billed as the first engineering world model: it turns a single photo of an engine or car into a full tree of assemblies and parts, plus the sketch-and-operation sequence that builds each one.
- Two-model architecture: a Hierarchical Composer decides what the object is made of level by level, while a Construction World Model rolls out each leaf part as ordered visual states (the solid after each operation plus the 2D sketch between states).
- Benchmark claims: on CAD and BIM tasks the team says it beats GPT-6 Astra and every frontier model tested — 51-125x faster, 150-210x cheaper, with higher IOU accuracy.
