Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said he would cut off chip supply to a customer building unsafe AI — a notable stance from the company supplying most of the industry's compute.
Nvidia is also committing $250M to UK AI safety research, with funding going to Oxford, UCL and other institutions. The move raises the question of whether other parts of the AI stack should make similar commitments.
