99% don't know 'record a skill': computer use agents' ceiling is nowhere near
alliekmiller · x · 2026-10-20
Allie Miller argues computer use agents are far from their ceiling: 99% of people she's shown the "record a skill" feature didn't know it existed. Any paid tool without an API can now be learned and operated by an agent. Her recipe: pick your most boring 20-minute weekly browser task (medium value, low risk), record a skill for it with a computer use agent (she prefers Codex), run it 1-3 times with edits, then rerun next month and compare.
