Per an exclusive Upstarts profile, Tolan's AI companion app has reached 250K users, mostly outside Silicon Valley. The startup raised $30M from USV, Khosla Ventures, and Homebrew as CEO Quinten Farmer aims to broaden access and build user trust in the AI companion.
