App Store Connect CLI 5.16.0 ships named uploads, safer sign-ins and longer video timeouts

The open-source App Store Connect CLI (8k stars on GitHub) released v5.16.0, with author rudrank detailing the changes in a thread:
- Named uploads: --reference-name makes assets searchable from the moment they hit the Asset Library (images and videos)
- Fewer surprise sign-ins: auto-login pauses after a 5xx from Apple's sign-in service (Retry-After, else 15 min, max 1 hour); new ASCWEBNOAUTOLOGIN=1 prevents headless scripts from re-authenticating repeatedly and triggering Apple 503s
- Placement swaps: Apple now requires replacements to keep the old placement's group; placements swap reads and sends it automatically
- Video uploads now wait 30 minutes by default (was 5) since most uploads were cut off mid-processing; ASCUPLOADTIMEOUT still overrides
- Exit codes refined: asc analytics download returns 4 for missing instance/segment IDs; user-input failures no longer counted as asc bugs in telemetry
