Cloudflare Workers often break subdomain-as-subfolder redirects for VPN users, causing 404s
gaganghotra_ · x · 2026-10-20
Developer @gaganghotra warns that if you serve a subdomain as a subfolder and Cloudflare Workers sit in your setup, Cloudflare frequently breaks the redirect chain for VPN users — they often just get a 404 instead of the actual page.
If your site gets traffic from visitors behind VPNs or proxies, this is a common pitfall worth checking.
