Town, an AI email assistant startup, has raised a $108M Series B at a $1B valuation, co-led by Menlo Ventures and Forerunner, with a16z and First Round participating.
Menlo says its entire firm has run on Town since June: assistants costing under $100/month triage inboxes at 6 a.m., prep briefings and chase follow-ups on weekends. After meeting nearly every team in the space, Menlo says Town stood out by doing useful work out of the box, with drafts that already sounded like the user.
