Podium hits $150M AI ARR: the second time took 2.5 years vs 8 the first
ycombinator · x · 2026-10-23
Podium founder Eric Rea announced the company's AI ARR has crossed $150M — his second time building a business that size, after 8 years the first time and just 2.5 years now.
Three years ago Podium already had a $100M+ software business with tens of thousands of customers. Believing AI would make much of traditional software obsolete, the team chose to rebuild from scratch as an AI-native company. Paul Graham shared it as a rare middle case: incumbents adapt to AI at best, while new startups are AI-native from day one.
