Descript adds one-click import for Claude Motion animations, turning them into narrated videos
descript · x · 2026-10-20
Descript announced a direct integration with Anthropic's Claude Motion: Claude can generate animations (beta on Team/Enterprise plans), and Descript handles the rest—voiceover, footage, captions.
The workflow:
- Type /motion in Claude and iterate on the animation (animated charts, title cards, explainers)
- Pick Descript in Claude Motion's export "Send to" menu and connect your account
- The animation lands in a new Descript project, ready for voiceover, screen recording, stock footage, and captions
Suggested use cases include explainer videos in your own voice and augmenting animations with real footage. Free to get started.
