A Google DeepMind researcher is hosting a student via the DeepMind student researcher program to study what makes LLM-human communication effective and use the findings to improve models. Suited to PhD students in user simulation, HCI, multi-turn interaction/RL, or computational cognitive science. 24-week position in NYC; expression of interest via linked form.
