Real-time WebGL fluid simulation runs in your browser, based on Navier-Stokes GPU techniques
techNmak · x · 2026-10-20
Developer Pavel Dobryakov built a real-time fluid simulation that runs entirely in the browser via WebGL — no install needed, and it works on mobile too.
The implementation is based on GPU fluid-simulation techniques for the Navier-Stokes equations. Click and drag to push dye through the velocity field, create vortices, mix colors and watch the flow evolve in real time. Source is on GitHub, making it a classic reference for learning GPU graphics programming and fluid simulation.
