AssemblyAI is running an online Voice Hackathon Week (Oct 15–23) built around its new Text-to-Speech API: teams of 1–4, $2,000 in prizes across 20 winners, hosted on Discord.
The event targets AI/ML engineers, voice-agent builders, and creators working on audio content or accessibility tools. It kicks off with a free live build session where voice AI engineers demo a working TTS app from scratch — open to non-competitors too. Capacity is limited.
