AI startup Town announced a $108M Series B co-led by Forerunner Ventures and Menlo Ventures. Founder jgreze argues the biggest workplace bottleneck is waiting on teammates, and that most AI assistants are built for one person. Town gives every employee a "Townie" — assistants that talk to each other, share only what their user would share, and get more useful as teams collaborate. A16Z's joshelman also endorsed the product.
