Dev building agent-first GitHub alternative to kill manual merges to main
fforres · x · 2026-10-19
Developer fforres is hacking on an agent-first GitHub alternative for internal use cases, rethinking the SDLC for AI agents. He argues PRs in some form will remain — you still need a changeset/merge request defining what commits land on another branch — but the goal is eliminating manual merging to main and conflict resolution. The project is coming along nicely and may be released open source.
