Robotics writer Kai Williams (Understanding Robots) concedes a recent misjudgment: while working on an article about the challenges of robotics evaluation, he assumed no top robot models would be offered through an API — then Physical Intelligence released a beta last week. He adds he never actually made the claim attributed to his article, notes Physical Intelligence has a track record of being more open than its direct competitors, and says he's curious to learn more about how the API works.
