Perplexity showcased Computer building an interactive Lord of the Rings map from scratch that tracks the main characters' journeys across Middle-earth chapter by chapter. The build placed 179 locations, 41 rivers, and 23 roads, baked terrain ranges into a heightfield, inked the relief in a GLSL shader, and plotted 537 journey legs. The map is available to try online.
