Google ships WebMCP Skill with security and dev best practices plus TypeScript types
thisiskp_ · x · 2026-10-19
Google's team (announced by Sarah Drasner) released a new WebMCP Skill plus supporting type definitions:
- WebMCP Skill: bundles best practices for security, development, and consequential flows, meant to be handed to an agent so it can scaffold WebMCP integrations in a clean, spec-compliant way.
- WebMCP Types: TypeScript definitions with type inference from InputSchema, improving the developer experience.
The resources target developers who want agents to autonomously generate high-quality WebMCP integrations out of the box.
