Runway launches frontier research design studio betting on real-time generative video

Runway has unveiled a new frontier research design studio building prototypes, applications and new media projects around generative video and world models.
The team's thesis: real-time generative video will power every interface, and world models will open new ways to tell stories, create interactive worlds, and bring intelligence into the physical world. The studio is also hiring people to help design that future. CEO Cristóbal Valenzuela amplified the launch, framing it as experimenting with "what comes next."
