Robotics is having its GPT-2 moment, says State of AI's Nathan Benaich

Nathan Benaich, co-author of the State of AI report, argues robotics is at a GPT-2-like inflection point: video pretraining, world models, and action prediction are starting to converge. The open question, he says, is whether that learned understanding lets robots handle novel tasks with far less task-specific training. From his interview on the MTS podcast.
