Poll: Most US Voters Think Dario Amodei Is a Republican, and a Third Can't Name Him

A poll cited in POLITICO's Decoded newsletter shows how AI-world perceptions diverge from the outside world: most American voters believe Dario Amodei is a Republican and that Anthropic employees lean right. Voters are so predisposed to see the AI sector as right-leaning that even a fake tech CEO invented by pollsters was pegged as Republican. Meanwhile, about a third of respondents don't know who Sam Altman or Dario Amodei are.
