Per the New York Post, Databricks is doubling its footprint at 5 Bryant Park to 120,000 square feet across five floors, with plans to expand engineering and research headcount.
Tasso Argyros, VP of engineering in NYC, wrote that the company 'made a bet' earlier this year that 'world-class AI would be built in Manhattan,' citing the city's density of financial services, media, healthcare and retail companies where AI meets real-world use, plus a talent ecosystem that top graduates increasingly want to stay in.
