ChatGPT Chrome extension brings in-browser Chat and agentic Work modes to all plans

ChatGPT can now work inside your Chrome tabs via an extension, no desktop app needed. After installing, open chatgpt.com or the side panel and it can use your open tabs and signed-in sites.
Chat mode pulls together research across tabs, compares products, and answers questions about what you're viewing. Work mode can fill forms, download files, prepare expenses, and organize tabs in the background while you keep working. Available on all ChatGPT plans.
