Sketch-to-game: Claude builds a water-skiing demo with no game engine at all
ChargeAdventurous751 · reddit · 2026-10-19
A Reddit user demoed a water-skiing game built entirely by Claude without any game engine — and claims skipping UE5/Unity actually gave better results than their earlier engine-based attempts. The attached image shows the entire input: a hand-drawn stick-figure sketch annotating just "spray" and "wake", from which Claude generated the full water-skiing effect. The author is considering adding monoskis, waterskis, obstacles and terrain, and asking whether to finish the game.
