selflift-Fish: 20s 1080p MiniMax H3 video on a 16GB GPU, 2.2x faster
Hot_Store_5699 · reddit · 2026-10-19
A developer released selflift-Fish, an improved fork of facok's SelfLift ComfyUI node for MiniMax H3 video generation:
- Generates longer clips at higher resolution with less VRAM pressure — tested 20-second clips at 1920×1088 on an RTX 5070 Ti 16GB with system RAM offloading (128GB system RAM)
- Fixes the background swelling/shifting issue caused by the original spatial tiling
- Keeps attention acceleration; full workflow time for 10s 1920×1088 runs dropped from 27m50s to 12m55s
Code and setup are open-sourced on GitHub; the author asks the community to report speed, background stability and quality with their hardware specs.
