Zach Mueller shares an unusual failure mode with MCIO risers: GPU 03 literally "fell off the bus" due to gravity. The screenshot shows NVIDIA Xid 79 ("GPU has fallen off the bus"), a DPC containment event with an uncorrectable error on the PCIe upstream port, failed AER recovery, and nvidia-smi showing GPU index 3 unavailable while other GPUs remain present. His fix: rubber bands — a heads-up for anyone building multi-GPU rigs with MCIO risers.
