Visa open-sources AI cyber defense harness after joining Anthropic's Project Glasswing
emmanuelvivier · x · 2026-10-19
Visa joined Anthropic's defensive cybersecurity initiative Project Glasswing and open-sourced its AI-powered vulnerability management system, the Visa Vulnerability Agentic Harness. Its security team built a fifth-generation multi-model test suite using agents to systematically map and scan the codebase. Anthropic reports Glasswing participants found 10,000+ high or critical vulnerabilities across critical software in the first month, with the bottleneck shifting from discovery to verification, disclosure, and patching.
