Teacher builds Keystone, an open-source AI slides system you can talk to
Ifraude · reddit · 2026-10-19
A 3D TechArt instructor released Keystone, a free open-source web-based slides system where Claude writes and edits HTML/CSS/JS decks directly in the browser, replacing tedious PowerPoint workflows.
Key features:
- Ask Claude to write/edit slides inside the Keystone window
- Voice feedback via faster-whisper plus on-screen drawing, with timed info so Claude knows when you spoke and drew
- Style template system for reusing personal or brand art direction
- Built-in Three.js viewer
- One-click translation stored separately from styling, applied without page reload
Even the trailer was made without video editing software: Claude generated the animations from the slides, then ElevenLabs added sound effects and music. Open source on GitHub.
