Anthropic's charity LLC starts with just 5%, rest are pledges with no public Form 990 disclosure

AlexTensor retweets David Pollack's response to David Sacks clarifying details of Anthropic's philanthropic commitment:
- The new LLC gets 5% to start; the rest of the 20% consists of founder and employee pledges;
- Because it's a wholly owned LLC rather than a 501(c)(3), Anthropic still owns it and files no public Form 990 as a charity must.
The post effectively raises questions about the transparency and actual funded status of Anthropic's large philanthropic pledge.
