jdluk87 · x · 2026-10-19
An engineer shares US patent US20190370413A1 (granted Sept 2025, assigned to Apple): old Siri picked a single domain up front for queries like "Hey Siri, play Angry Birds" (game? movie? soundtrack?). The patented approach lets Siri check what's actually installed on the device before deciding the intent domain. Expires 2039.
