Security robot dog enforces parking at Atlanta condo complex, sparks surveillance backlash
4KTV · x · 2026-10-19
A condo complex in East Atlanta (The Broadway) deployed remotely operated security robot dogs from Atlanta-based Undaunted. One unit approached a parked woman's car, told her via a human operator's voice to move, and followed her outside the gate to make sure she left. Operators use onboard cameras and speakers to talk to residents, and multiple locations now use these robot dogs. Critics decry the 24/7 mass surveillance setup, with many comparing it to a Black Mirror episode.
