Building Drivr: a Grok bot for voice note-taking while Tesla FSD drives
bfrench · x · 2026-10-19
The author built Drivr, a single-purpose Grok Bot for taking notes while Tesla FSD (Supervised) drives. His best thinking happens on the road, but a general-purpose in-car assistant isn't built for capturing it. Drivr patiently listens while he thinks aloud, then files what he said into a memory doc (Coda). The article walks through the in-cabin problems — hands-busy capture, fragmented context — and how the bot is designed around them, a nice example of solving a niche scenario with one focused agent.
