Building a Company OS with Claude Code and Slack to cut 8 hours/week of context routing
aakashgupta · x · 2026-10-19
Product leader Aakash Gupta spent 11 days building a "Company OS" — an assistant living in Slack, Telegram, iMessage and GitHub — to kill "context routing": the 10 daily pings ("when does it ship?", "share the results?") that eat 8+ hours a week. Key points:
- Modeled on two CPOs' systems: Jiaona Zhang's harness lets CSMs ship to production; Mikhail Shcheglov added Telegram access, self-improving skills, and shared-context measurement
- Ships as a system + assistant with enterprise controls (roles, permissions) and a dashboard for the admin
- Goal: stop routing everything through one person, cutting routing time in half
