According to daily.dev, Anthropic's internal monorepo went from an average of 2,500 daily merged changes to over 30,000 in just four months. With Git becoming the bottleneck, the company built its own version control system named Scion. The numbers also hint at how much AI-assisted coding has amplified internal code output velocity.
