tsc-ts Beats tsgo 3.0s vs 18.3s: TypeScript Is 6x Faster Than Go Port
cramforce · x · 2026-10-18
cramforce shares a benchmark on the type-fest type suite comparing the new native Go-based tsgo 7.0.2 against the pure-TypeScript tsc-ts: tsgo took 18.3s while tsc-ts finished in 3.0s — about 6x faster — with identical errors reported even with 6 checks intentionally broken.
Even running tsgo with 8 checkers only got it down to 13.6s, so the gap isn't just about thread count.
