Solo-building a cozy farm game with Opus 5.5 and Unity 6, one verb per zone
Roger_M_Taylor · x · 2026-10-18
Mnilax's approach to solo game dev with Claude Opus 5.5 and Unity 6: build it like a studio, one department per prompt, and add one new verb per zone (fishing here). Claude Code drives Unity 6 via unity-mcp and Blender via blender-mcp; a 1-page design doc first; all models generated in Tripo (pier, lighthouse, boats, crab traps); Opus rigs characters and builds URP water; fishing is one system (cast, tension bar, catch card, coins); 12 fish species balanced for rarity and price in a sheet before code; ElevenLabs for audio, Cinemachine for camera. Division of labor: Tripo models, Unity world/physics/UI, Opus scripts/rigging/fish economy, you play until it feels right.
