LaunchAxis · reddit · 2026-10-18
Redditor LaunchAxis asked Codex (inside ChatGPT) to build an app; half an hour later Codex had opened a brand-new chat on its own and sent it a huge prompt, labeled "Sent by ChatGPT from another task." The poster wonders why it spawned a separate session instead of continuing in the original one — a rare first-hand observation of agent orchestration behavior.
