Hana Securities: YMTC likely to IPO this December, aiming to raise $33B
basedjensen · x · 2026-10-18
Hana Securities, considered the strongest Korean brokerage on China, reports the ground view in China is that YMTC will go public this December rather than next March. YMTC reportedly aims to raise $33B (above CXMT's $29.5B target), with $20.8B+ going to two Hubei NAND fabs to lift market share by 2027. It filed via the Shanghai exchange on Aug 21 and entered review Sept 4. The IPO would set China's memory-sector valuation benchmark; short-term fund drain is a risk, and SK Hynix should watch CXMT's post-listing cap too.
