hubspot-auditor: open-source read-only MCP server runs 46 checks on a HubSpot portal
CryptBay · reddit · 2026-10-18
The author open-sourced hubspot-auditor (MIT), a read-only MCP server that audits a HubSpot portal, with design choices useful for anyone building MCP servers over business data: read-only by construction (the HTTP client throws on anything but GET), tokens loaded from the environment so they never enter model context, versioned YAML rules so checks change without code edits, reports carrying counts instead of contact records, and a demo mode requiring no HubSpot account. It runs 46 checks and returns a score plus a 30/60/90-day fix plan in Markdown and JSON. v1.5.0 ranks findings by business process, assigns owners and retests, and flags forms lacking captcha or honeypot. Works over stdio with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and others; try via npx -y hubspot-auditor --demo.
