Opus 5.5 codes a fully typable typewriter simulator in-browser — no assets, no audio files
sujingshen · x · 2026-10-18
Developer @eviljer built a browser typewriter simulator entirely with Opus 5.5: each key is a lever linked to a type bar, paper shows fibers, per-strike indentations and mirrored letters showing through. Key sounds are synthesized in code, calibrated against a recording of a 1940 Erika 5 — a decision the agent made on its own. Chinese input simulates pinyin with per-character strikes. No model files, no recordings — all generated code. Workflow: deconstruct a meta prompt with Sonnet, generate a reference image with Nano Banana 2.1, then hand off to Opus 5.5 High with a loose scene brief.
