DeepSeek has launched standalone Search and Fetch APIs, billed per request at $0.75 per 1,000 successful requests each.
According to the pricing page, server-side tool calls made through DeepSeek Harness, Claude Code, or Codex already hit these APIs and are currently free; per-request billing starts at 00:00 Beijing time on November 1, 2026.
