Neodra Dynamics showed Neo1, a 4-meter, 1-ton-plus humanoid robot, at CIIF alongside JD Industrial.
Key specs:
- 41 active degrees of freedom; 39 use in-house miniature digital hydraulic linear actuators (1 kg each, ton-level continuous thrust)
- The other 2 DOF are electric forearm rotation joints, since continuous roll is awkward with linear actuators
- 500 kg dual-arm payload, payload-to-machine-mass ratio around 0.4–0.5, which the author notes hydraulics enable at this scale
