Mystery aurora-blue/green/red-alpha models spotted in OpenAI API
scaling01 · x · 2026-10-18
Three previously unknown model IDs — aurora-blue-alpha, aurora-green-alpha, and aurora-red-alpha — have appeared in the OpenAI API.
Context: an earlier aurora-alpha model on OpenRouter was believed to be GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark. These could be specialized Codex coding models or high-speed inference variants of GPT-6.
Unverified rumor; no official response yet.
