VFX pro builds entire Houdini scene by voice via Claude, 50-hour render on RTX 5090

VFX professional Hector pushed Claude Opus 5.5 to its limits inside Houdini — building an entire complex scene purely by voice notes to his iPhone. He says he found no ceiling; the shown result is where he chose to stop, with some details still to fix.
- Fully voice-driven workflow: scene building plus color grading in DaVinci (ACES), the latter done through DaVinci's MCP integration, all by talking to his phone.
- Heavy render cost: the scene's complexity (volumetrics etc.) took 50 hours on an RTX 5090.
- His takeaway: he can't imagine a future where this isn't used massively at work.
Reposter bilawal sidhu frames it as seasoned creators going from "playing instruments to conducting the orchestra" — creating at unprecedented scale without losing track of details.
