16-Year-Old Open-Sources Tiny Agents: A Working Agent Harness in 103 Lines of Python
Public-Response8933 · reddit · 2026-10-18
Kauan, a 16-year-old Brazilian developer building for Hack Club's Terra program, open-sourced Tiny Agents, a Python framework that makes AI agent harnesses trivially easy. It already supports multiple model providers, context-window management and compaction, async workers, a customizable terminal UI, and tool execution.
His demo assistant — model selection, configurable tools, context compaction, custom commands, full interactive TUI — is just 103 lines of Python. The post includes the example code and asks builders what parts of harness-building are most tedious, and whether people prefer minimal or batteries-included frameworks.
