SpaceXAI's OAuth consent page draws scrutiny over vague X data-sharing language
yenkel · x · 2026-10-18
Developer yenkel flagged unclear wording in the SpaceXAI/X OAuth consent flow: it authorizes "SpaceXAI and X to access and share your data" without clarifying whether sharing is limited to the two services or extends to third parties. The consent screen covers X profile and settings, all viewable posts (including protected ones), Grok profiles plus third-party plugins/connectors, and full Grok conversation history, with conversations "synced and shared across Grok and X."
