An 11-year-old developer built Genesis, a Minecraft bot powered by Google Gemini and Mineflayer that understands natural language instead of strict commands. Each chat message is sent to Gemini with a strict JSON schema that converts casual phrasing into actions, item IDs and coordinates. It can craft its own furnace when none exists, switch between bow and sword in combat, eat golden apples when health drops below 6 hearts, auto-equip best gear with a Totem of Undying off-hand, and auto-detect server versions. Built on Node.js, beta live at genesismc.netlify.app.
