MatthewChang · x · 2026-10-18
MatthewChang complained that Kodiak Robotics took the name of his former EV truck company Kodiak Tech, and posted a screenshot of KDK's financials questioning the books:
- The screenshot shows Other Income of -$467.47M in the period, with pretax losses of -$585.52M
- He publicly asked "equity bros" to explain the massive other income (expense) line
- The stock was up 4.44% at $1.41 on the day
The post mixes a naming dispute with scrutiny of a recently public autonomous-driving company's financials.
