See Your Voice: a privacy-friendly browser tool that visualizes spectrograms to teach how speech recognition works

Developer prdeepakbabu released "See Your Voice," an education project that draws a live spectrogram of your microphone input entirely in the browser — no login, no audio leaves the page.
Part of a Speech AI Classroom Kit, it explains the basics of speech recognition:
- Spectrograms are where many recognizers start: a whistle is one bright line, a clap a vertical stripe across frequencies, vowels show vocal-fold harmonics plus formants
- An acoustic model estimates speech sounds from these patterns; a language model picks the likely words
The page includes interactive challenges — whistling a line, comparing sss vs shh, a vowel rainbow, whisper vs. talk, and the ship/chip difference — making it easy to see how machines "look" at sound.
