AI biotech turns wet-lab measurements into RL sandboxes for drug discovery
xennygrimmato_ · x · 2026-10-18
A whitepaper from Leash Biosciences and colleagues proposes AI-native biotech companies with wet labs as natural RL sandboxes: synthesize a combinatorial molecule library (over 1M molecules), pre-measure binding enrichment across many protein targets so each target becomes a fully 'measured world', then let Claude agents combine components under a limited budget and learn from each attempt. The measure-once, reuse-many setup enables repeated rollouts by multiple models.
