Non-game dev builds browser FPS with Claude Code where every 3D asset is pure code
Inevitable_Salad_128 · reddit · 2026-10-17
A non-game developer spent about a month iterating with Claude Code to build Riposte (playriposte.com), a free browser FPS where every visual asset — weapons, characters, maps — is generated directly as code, with no imported models or Blender MCP, plus physics on props, cloth and water.
- Targets PC, phone and controller play
- Cost: started on the €20/month plan and hit limits fast; switching to Sonnet covered many tasks, and the €90/month plan was more than enough for October
- Notable quirk: Claude Code started launching parallel agents for everything, so he had to forbid it in project instructions
